Current cookie use
- The main staff dashboard uses a strictly necessary secure session cookie after login so authorized users can stay signed in.
- The website may use browser storage after login for convenience values such as user name, role, assigned facility access, employee ID, and developer-mode status.
- Public pages do not currently need analytics or advertising cookies to function.
- Rate limiting and security monitoring may use technical request data such as IP address and request path, but the current limiter does not require a marketing cookie.
Third-party services
- The website may load map or asset resources from providers such as S3-hosted files, Leaflet resources, OpenStreetMap map tiles, GitHub-hosted marker images, or CDN-hosted map assets.
- Those third-party services may receive technical information from the browser when their resources are loaded. Their own policies control their use of that information.
Consent approach
- Strictly necessary cookies used for login, security, fraud prevention, and service delivery are required for the portal to work and are not optional inside the portal.
- If the website later adds analytics, advertising, remarketing, or non-essential preference cookies, the site should add a cookie banner or preference center before those cookies are used.
- If public preference cookies are added for assisted-living preferences, the site should explain the preference, let visitors accept or reject it, and avoid storing sensitive health details in a browser cookie.
Managing cookies
- You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
- Blocking strictly necessary login cookies may prevent the dashboard or portal from working correctly.
